About Us

Mahila Chetna Manch (MCM) was founded in the year 1984.It is a not profit organisation registered under Madhya Pradesh Socities Registration Act. Through its various programmes and initiatives MCM extends support to women in order to enable them not only in voicing men concerns but also in taking a lead role in social, economic and political spheres. The focus of MCM’s work is on development with sustainability and not creating dependency. MCM maintains a diversified work portfolio for promoting gender mainstreaming in various facets of development particularly in education, health, water and sanitation and livelihoods.Over the last three decades of its operation MCM is able to contribute in making a positive difference in the lives of women.
